射频光模块用于将射频信号转为光信号 ，通过光纤传输 ，吸收端再将光信号转换成射频信号 ，其距离长、带宽高、响应平展 ，使用于通讯及雷达系统。
详情先容：
卫星通讯中 ，点到点的天线可以通过此装备将射频信号转为光信号 ，通过光纤毗连至几米到几千米的控制室外。广播信号也可以将RF信号转为光信号通过光纤传输。雷达系统可以通过此方法将雷达天线和信号室举行远距离毗连。射频光模块凭证带宽的差别 ，有8GHz,15GHz,20GHz差别射频带宽的产品 ，尚有3GHz, 2.4GHz, 1.5GHz等低频段 ，凭证需要 ，可选择单向和双向传输系统。
